  • a regular newsletter with details about the Society's events, reports of projects, and discussions of topical issues including planning concerns
  • seasonal walks: guided outings in and around the Fernhurst area
  • our series of very popular indoor talks on topics of local interest by well-known speakers, usually held in the village hall.
  • the opportunity to take part in the Society's projects. (These have included for example, the Biodiversity, Oral History and Censuses projects, the prepartion of a millennium map and a village sign, and several exhibitions).
  • supporting and using the Fernhurst Archive in the collecting, cataloguing and conserving of our local heritage
  • the satisfaction of taking part in and contributing to village life and activities, and sharing interests with fellow members

Please refer to our subscriptions page for full details.The membership subscription is just £6 per annum for adults (£5 for senior citizens), and £1 for juniors. Please also note our Data and privacy protection policy.
